I earned a Master’s degree in public relations and organizational communication from Wayne State University and a Bachelor’s degree in journalism from Michigan State University. I am passionate about using storytelling to educate, inspire and advance goals.

I currently manage the stewardship, donor relations and communications team at the College of Charleston, where we work to recognize and retain donors, promote the impact of philanthropy, plan and execute donor events, and award scholarships. Before joining the College, I led the donor communications team at Wayne State University.

Originally from Michigan, I lived a decade in Georgia before returning to the Detroit area. Thankfully, I relocated to Charleston, S.C. in 2011. I love books, the beach and sewing handbags and garments.
